I am a recently engaged, third-grade teacher. My fiance worked as a personal trainer for years, and we met through the fitness industry. He is now back in school as a Chiropractic student, while I'm working full-time. My final year of college was spent studying abroad in Australia and Bali; this time abroad had a massive impact on my style preferences and tastes. We recently bought a house and are loving every second decorating it and making it our own. Our deco style is beachy scandinavian: minimalist whites with pops of tropical flair. It's so much fun picking items/diy projects that represent us and our story. I'm pretty picky with the brands I choose, working at a local, organic grocery store for years has made me far more considerate about companies I support. I love companies that give back, and feel proud to be a part of their impact. I also have celiac disease and consider myself to be a bit of a gluten-free foodie (hence the grocery store gig). One of my biggest passions is developing new gluten-free recipes to test on my coworkers/family and trying out new healthy (and delicious) products on the health food market.
